Merry Christmas!

Well, I wrapped up all my holiday photo orders for clients and had ONE available day to do pictures of my own children. The setting wasn't ideal (none of us slept the night before, kids were hungry and tired, yawning, pouting, you name it), but we rocked it out anyway. Literally, I tried to make it into a dance party to wake them up a little.

I will be posting more of these in the next few days.

I hope you are all enjoying this holiday season. I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and give a special thank you to all my wonderful clients. It's been a great year getting to know you all. Thank you for inviting me to capture some memories for an afternoon, I hope you will treasure them. I also hope to see you all back again next year! : )

Need a Last Minute Stocking Stuffer?

Look no further, I have a few holiday bath and body care items left that didn't get stocked at a store.

Like this delicious peppermint sugar scrub. Made with Shea butter, vitamin E and aloe to scrub away rough skin and leave it refreshed and smooth. I have one 4oz jar left for $5.50

I also have 3 sets of these cute peppermint candy cane glycerin soaps. They are $2.50 for a set of 2.

If you want something else, go check out Beehive Health essentials in Spanish Fork, I've stocked some of these cute gingerbread men soap, apple pie soap, candy cane soap, and a couple of gift baskets.

Merit Academy Cheerleaders - Dance and Cheer Team Photographer

I love to photograph cheer and dance teams, they are so much fun. Here's a little secret for you all, I was a cheerleader in high school for three years, and on the pom squad one year. : )

Meet the Varsity and Jr Varsity squads from Merit Academy in Springville! Good luck this year girls, thanks for letting me photograph you all on a bitter cold afternoon!

Hilgendorf Family Sneak Peek - Utah Family Photographer

I've had lots of neighborhood friends visiting me lately, but this family is extra special... I've learned a lot from this fellow photographer. He used to host photographer workshops every month where we could all learn and grow from each other, they were so much fun, too! Sadly, he is one more professional who is no longer shooting, for a few years at least. I was honored to photograph them, it was my treat really, because look how beautiful they are!

If those were my girls I would give them anything they asked for! Look at those eyes!

The Burr Family - Utah Family Photographer

Meet another set of our lovely neighbors. I got to photograph them a few days ago in the beautiful fall leaves that are still hanging around. They are such a fun family and we love having them live nearby. Aren't they the cutest family ever?!

Bryan is a wood sculptor, too. He made all the drums in the images below. He also made that cute little elephant for our home! Jeremy travels to India and brought home some small carved elephants, so we asked Bryan to try his hand at a large, Indian inspired elephant, to go in our bedroom. I LOVE it! If you want to order any special wood friends or winter snowmen, give him a call - 801.830.9018.  : )

 What should we name him?

The C Family - Utah Professional Photographer

Maybe it's the sudden cold weather, but I was feeling vintage inspired as I edited these. I got to spend the last warm weekend day with this great family. They were so awesome to photograph, up for anything I suggested, and oh so photogenic. And the best part is, we're neighbors, so I made new friends, too.

Basketball Brothers - Utah Teen Photographer

This has been a crazy week, with Halloween activities and the weather, but this photo shoot was worth the cold. I had so much fun with these three siblings. You may recognize the girl from some of my other shoots; this time I got to do her brothers, too!

Man it was cold... and snowing! Can you see it here? This snow blew in out of nowhere, but they didn't seem to mind.

I finally finished my re-finishing project! See that cute blue chair? I did that! I am so proud of myself.

"A" has some protection! Watch out boys. haha I was the only girl in my family, too.
