I found these quite by accident today on my hard drive, but it made me sad that it is sleeting outside right now!

Do you ever wish you could tour Europe? I know I do. My brother and sister-in-law are living in London with their four children and are making the most of their time there; taking family trips all over Europe every chance they get. I check their blog all the time to see where they've been, and now you can feel like you're right there as well with all their beautiful images. Have a nice trip!! : )

Shay Bee's Grand Opening

ShayBee's Grand Opening in Springville was a huge success! Thank to everyone who came.

 Saturday they had free cake, cup cakes, pizza, drinks, and prizes. They also did their ribbon cutting.

There were lots of cute kids, and everyone had a good time.

There was also free entertainment next door at the music store.

Graduating With Honors

My sister-in-law, Jamie, is graduating from SUU next weekend! I already know that she is an amazing young woman, but it seems she's made quite an impact on the university as well. 

She is graduating as the Southern Utah University Scholar of The Year, 

and the College of Science Valedictorian!

 We are so proud of you, and wish you even more success in your next scholastic adventure, Jamie.

 p.s. I'm so happy that I have two amazing sisters! ; )

For Fun - Casting Call Salsa Dancing Shoot

You can see more of these on the Teen Site, but here's a peek. I've been doing more shoots at night lately on purpose, forcing myself to conquer the beast that is my external flash! Give me sunshine and a reflector any day, no problem. Let me set up studio lights, no biggie. But somehow I just can't get my images to look the way I want them to with one external flash. I know, ONE is part of the problem.

Anyway, when I see a location at night that screams "only fill light" needed, I want to try it. This time however, my main light (on top of a cool building) never turned on! So we did some other stuff instead, and still had fun. : )

I Heart Desserts

It's no secret that I don't bake, anything. I hardly cook at all. When I am in the kitchen making goodies, it's bath goodies! Things that look good enough to eat, but sadly for Jeremy, aren't.

Brinley and Shayley at ShayBee's

I was so excited to do a photo shoot in ShayBee's new store in Springville; it is such a cool historic building with a retro-urban feel to it. It used to be a shoe store and still has the original paint on the walls. And because of the nice street windows and the old brick and hardwood floors, there is such a warm, beautiful light inside. 

Be sure to come to their grand opening Sat. April 24th (from 10am -8 pm, 284 South Main) to see this store, taste some chocolate and join the festivities! Door open for business the 19th.

Miss Brinley was a pro at pictures. She is such a happy girl, easy going, and has the sweetest smile ever!

No reflector needed, the sun was hitting the floor and bouncing right back into her eyes. Lovely.

Meet Miss Shayley, a sensitive,  and calm soul. It took a little convincing, but she joined in the fun for a few pictures. She has the most beautiful, deep eyes, and I loved her serious expressions!
